How did this local business http://www.facebook.com/AcaiBerryDiet get their own URL? Every time I create a page it adds /pages/ into the URL?

Also what application is that they are using. On the left if you click on the link Acai Berry. It pulls up a page where it's like an HTML application. What one is that?
