Hi,

This question is not just for clickbank, but all aff networks.

They state specific rules on offers, for example no brand bidding, only social media, no sms, no social media etc.

How do they actually track it?

What type of info do they get from the aff links that we promote?

Or for example for brand bidding - how can they find out if an affiliate does that? Especially if they don't have a website and are direct linking.

Many thanks for the help!

I personally think, the affiliate manager or the person who is responsible for tracking the affiliates and whether, they break the rules, he doesn't do his job, because, you can see that there are literally so many people brand bidding, because the truth is, this way you will get the highest EPC. Some of the search ads stay for a really long time without banning the affiliate. You can also see that the first page of google is dominated by press releases, which they say are not allowed too, when you read the TOS. So, my conclusion is, there is a really small chance of getting in trouble, if you do brand bidding, maybe if you are direct linking, but if you use a landing page, they wouldn't be able to track.
