Ok I am a bit confused and can't find the answer to my question anywhere.

If I buy domains and I'm buying them for the purpose of making a blog network, does it matter where I buy the domains?

Meaning if I have 25 domains all purchased through the same Godaddy account but then I have all the nameservers redirecting them to different hosting accounts, does that create some kind of trail that can be traced?

Yes having all domains on the same registrar does create a footprint. Make it look natural, have some sites on namecheap, others on godaddy, etc.

Yes it leave a kind of footprint, all inbound links coming from the same registrar, and domain privacy, a big coincidence isn't it?

just mix up, different registrars, and fake, registration data is the way to go.

To make it look natural and fool Google you need to purchase the domains from different accounts
and companies. No this does not mean you have to literally purchase from 25 different companies
but you do need to divide it up a bit.
