question about hostgator!

I want to promote hostgator with they're affiliate program, but I need a question answered.I can't find it in they're ToS and I have emailed them but it's been about 4 days and I haven't received a reply yet.

Alright so here is my question/concern: I know if someone signs up for monthly hosting you get paid your $50 after the customer has been with them for 3 months. But what if the customer pays for a year upfront? Do you get your commission the same month? My whole plan was to set up free websites for people across the city as long as they used my affiliate code and sign up for one year web hosting.

I'm pretty certain that you still have to wait as part of the reason they want you to wait is because of their guarantee policy.

Good luck winning the iPad (as that is their affiliate prize for the month).

Why don't you just sign up for the baby package and host the site for them? This way you can make much more thant the 50usd over the year?
