Question About Having a Second Additional Facebook Account?

I have a Facebook account. but I want a second account with an assumed name.

The reason is that I want to sell products (in Facebook groups) that are lower than the wholesaler's mandated minimum resell price (I am a vendor to whom the wholesaler is selling the products).

This is a small-scale operation, but the wholesaler will likely stop selling me products if they catch me.

How can I get a second account?

I think Facebook prohibits additional accounts.

Could I use a VPN when registering the second account?

I have a VPN. It is called AtlasVPN, but I don't think it is a very good one and I am not sure of its reliability.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Basically you will need antidetect browser and private residential or mobile 4g proxies. That way you can have as much accounts you wan. To automate posting on the groups will need bot.

you will need your own anti-detection browser and 4g mobile or residential proxy. That way you can have as many accounts as you want
 
You need:
1. The old FB account will be better than the newly created FB account.
2. VPS account will help you hide

That is BS.
I've had 2 FB accounts on my home IP for years.
OK, I don't spam. But this is BS that you can't have 2 FB accounts on the same IP.
Actually, at times I do post to groups... like 30-40 of them but rarely.

Is a VPN a private residential proxy?
 
You are competing with your own customers. that's really not good. but if you want to create a 2nd account. i think it won't matter if you use it on the same machine, using VPS will be safer for n 2nd accounts but you also need to do warm it up for 1 week with activities like a real person.

Can you elaborate on your comment," You are competing with your own customers. that's really not good...". I am not sure why you think that is not a good idea.
 
Just install it on a different browser, like Firefox, and you can easily have 2 FB open at the same time with no issue.
Unless you start registering 100's of accounts, you can have a few with no issue. Just register a new account with a fake name, and build it up from there.
I wouldn't even use a VPN or proxy.

I have the same issue. I just need to create 1 more account to use for organic outreach purposes on FB and something like Multilogin seems like overkill. However, if I do create another profile from the same IP and Mac addy, and the FB bot flagged it for whatever reason, would you lose both the new profile and your aged original? Ever heard of that happening?

If you don't want to risk it, download a multilogin browser. most of them have a free plan for 10 accounts, you just need one, try first with no proxy and if it gets locked, just make another one with a residential proxy. the first one won't be affected.

Facebook explicitly prohibits the use of 2 personal accounts for the same person. I have no idea where you got this screenshot from but it's entirely wrong. Yes, you may get away with it, especially if you don't spam or don't run ads, but it is against their policies.

Yet at the same time they have "Switch between different Facebook accounts" functionality.
 
You definitely CAN use multiple FB accounts from the same IP. They just don't want the same person to have multiple FB profiles for himself, but there's no problem if you have multiple profiles for multiple businesses or people. Just think about when you have friends over and you're all on the same WiFi connection, or when you're on a public shared connection.

Of course if you start creating/logging into hundreds of accounts, that IP might lose trust score and ultimately get your accounts banned.
But I login to at least 5/10 accounts daily with no issues.
