Hi,

I've found some decent niches with low competition but the products on Clickbank related to them have low Gravity 0-5. Is this a good sign or bad? Do these convert? Should I stay away and look for another or go for it?

Thanks in advance.

ofc you should always start with low gravity products but it's important to look at the product as a buyer...think like if you were to buy it would you spend your money on that product...look at the sales page and try to ask the vendor for a review copy and see how he replies...i suggest you go through this guide:http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/clickbank/688820-how-choose-cb-products-newbies-5-minute-guide.html

Gravity is like a trust the more it is the more it can convert but, you should the check guide post shared by mancar487 and highlighted by abhi007.

I've promoted CB products with low gravity successfully. The key is to do some research first in that niche. Find out what kind of people are interested, if at all, in these products and why are they interested in them. Then focus your content on that angle.

The gravity on each CB product only shows the number of clickbank affiliate marketers promoting it... Although new affiliate marketers are warned/adviced not to promote product with too low or over high gravity but for me either the gravity is low/high, if you have the product knowledge, product sales page okay and a good traffic source you will make your cash

As long as it's a good product....I don't think gravity matters.

Apparently they don't tell you the precise meaning of it, so why put a metric out there that no one really knows what it means?

It tells you how popular the product is. Then it is up to you if you want to promote a Star or a Question mark

Low gravity products could be just bad, if you think you found a good go one for it, you'll have little to no competition!

Gravity does not matter on making sales. So simply gravity means how many affiliates are making sales promoting certain product. Example - If a product is having 100 Gravity, that means 100 affiliates are making sales with that product. If a product is having 2 Gravity, 2 affiliates are making sales with that product..... If 2 members can make sales why can't you.

My suggestion is to consider Gravity if you are promoting products through review sites.
