Question about Godaddy hosting

I have question about Godaddy hosting. I am buying their hosting every month, I won't pay them for 1 year,2 years etc, because they suck. But I will stick with them for now.

However, I see that renewal for my hosting costs much more than buying new hosting package: http://prntscr.com/wzj9o

So, can I just buy new hosting package and when this one expires(tomorrow), to use new one?

Ive just bought some domains from godaddy with the goal to develop them and earn some cash. whats so bad about it and what would be a good alternative?

better forget about godaddy hosting, its nightmare.. better go at hostgator, their prices are damn cheap as well
