My account was suspended yesterday on some very week grounds. They didn't specifically told me why I was banned , but after much reading I discovered that I accidently broke an eBay policy : Duplicate policy.

I listed "item X" twice as a fixed-price listing. My first listing weren't getting any good responses, that's why I listed it again and lowered the price. I should've altered my first listing, that was foolish of me, but then again I wasn't aware that i was breaking any eBay policy. Nor, In my wildest dream I would ever imagine that any website could be that unforgiving, instead of limiting my account, they suspended me indefinitely .

Anyways, I was reading a lot online , on how to get back on eBay after account suspension. This is what I've gathered . Let me know if I am on the right path.

The steps that need to be taken to create a new account after a suspension are in this order:

    1. Delete your browser cookies and saved passwords ( fairly easy, done)
    2. Uninstall any 3rd party eBay software i.e. Turbo Lister ( never installed any software from eBay, I was a really new seller)
    3. Change your IP address ( I can use frootVPN / cyberghost. Also, I have a dynamic Ip address, meaning that everytime I restart my router, I have a different IP )
    4. Get a new number. (already did)
    5. Create a new email address from Gmail or Yahoo
    6. Create a new eBay account with the Gmail or Yahoo email
    7. Create a seller account with a new Credit Card and Bank Info ( I can use my mother's account)
    8. I am also going to make another user account on my PC , as an additional safety measure .
Anyone like to add anything to the list ?

As for my old suspended account, never ever log into it ..right ?

Okay , I am aware that eBay store cookies on your Pc so they can track your activity . What about your mobile ? I was using eBay's app on both my phone and tablet.

Thanks for reminding me not sue the same browser I was using before.

I have yet to make my new eBay account, first gathering all the necessary information needed to stay below the radar.

I've been pinched for duplicate listings a dozen times and they just pulled my listing. There's got to be more to this.

i can't think of anything else , that i did wrong. I may have copied someone else's listing and listed the item $5 cheaper than he was selling it for.. However I ended the sale few hours later, without selling any items

Could that be main reason for my indefinite suspension

Well that might do it, if someone reported you for stealing images. What were you trying to sell?

Well, first of all be relaxed, now since your account is banned, the only way you can do is,

Create a completely new ebay account with new ip and new pc. If you cannot use new pc, use a virtual pc and use private ip.

You already have idea how to create new account, so just do completely new setup.

Never use the Free VPN Services, If you use that, you get banned from ebay, because the ip already in use which free vpn usually share.

So Beware from using free vpn services.

Really thank you for the tip.
Also I would like to mention I have a dynamic Ip address, meaning that everytime I restart my router, I have a different IP. Also I have read somewhere that if you : Go to Start >> Run >> open CMD; Type in "ipconfig /release", without quotes; this will release your current IP address. Once this is done unplug your modem's power source, wait a couple minutes and plug it back in.

I tired that method, and yep my IP address was indeed changed..

can ebay still track me :|||

eBay can track you many different ways, so to escape detection you mainly just need to not reuse anything. You have most of what you need, but yeah definitely avoid those VPNs you mentioned. Your home internet is perfectly fine. You may want to start keeping a record of your IPs just in case you ever decide to run multiple accounts, though.

It's also best to not use any family member's info if you're new to stealth because you can easily make a mistake and then get that person banned from eBay too. Best to stick with a fake random name and address until you get used to how eBay tracks you.

My mother is illiterate when it comes to computer(s) and new tech in general. So I don't think she will even care slightly if eBAy blacklisted her bank details! I wish it never comes to this again though, i really need this account to stay! I have been practically earning no money for a long time now, I think it would be really nice to give back something to people I live with.

Thanks for taking you're time and replying! Cheerio!
