Just a question about G or possibly a problem on my end.

I checked G for a couple of searches over a hour ago on their .ie search engine.

I noticed that all results were in black including page title rather than the normal blue links that are shown.

When i decided to screenshot this as i thought it maybe some kind of G update the results were back to normal (blue).

This lasted for about 30mins using firefox with a private window.

Was this a glitch on my end?

Has anyone experienced this before or is it possibly part of a new G update.

G .ie would be a good choice for experimentation late on a saturday night to see if some new element works but im still not sure if it was a problem on my end.

Anyone seen this before or got any info on this

Never heard of this before. Latest G change that I knew was Adwords ads label was green instead of yellow.

There are several other forums and sites with threads on this in the last 24 hours.
Google is testing showing black links in their search results listing pages instead of the typical blue links. Google has red links in Google China, but has never had other colors being used for the blue links in other regions, until now. Google did recently show different shades of blue for the links in their search results.
This test seems to be pretty wide, because I am seeing tons of reports in the Google Web Search Help forums and many many many reports on Twitter.
Here are some screen shots of both mobile and desktop Google search results with black links, instead of the blue:
Google apparently didn't know that once you go black, you never go back.
