Can you get scammed on expireddomains.net? It may just be something I have not noticed, as I am no expert in expired domains or domains. I came across a good domain and the thing is it is still and up and running website, also it seems to rank well and considering the price of it, I find it a little strange.

I have never noticed domains on expireddomains.net, that still actually have a website on them and are running.

maybe list is not updated ? may be their system pick that domain wrongly ? so many reasons.

Yes I know, I do not want the site, I have just never come across a domain listed there that is actually still a hosted website. Also the price it is listed for seems a little strange considering the keywords it is ranking for. It has a buy now price of just short of $1000.

Oh and the site that is on it has been on it for the past 10 years or so.
 
Never seen such a thing, expired domains simply lists domains that have expired and are freely available for anyone to register at the normal prices.
 
Expireddomains is just a spider which provides list of domains on other marketplaces.

What do you mean by scammed? They don't actually sell domains. You only use them to see ones that are either available, or are going to become available in the next few days. From there you would need to register the domains by hand or using software like DesktopCatcher...
 
I think it takes a while to fully update. I have had a few decent ones from there. When I find the ones I want I go to GoDaddy manually and buy it from them. As you said sometimes they have already been purchased though, they are slow updating.

I have been using expireddomains for a long time and have never faced such problems before. it is not definitely a scam, just a mistake.

You are saying an expired domain can be bought from any registrar? Godaddy. Hostgator whoever offers domain registration?
