Question about eBay PP

Hi, I have been a long admirer of the forum and just recently decided to post.

I have a question regarding receiving payments from ebay customers. Im based in UK and my transactions range from 200-600 GBP..I have used PP before but as usual with the amounts of limitations they place business has been very very slow. They have restricted my account asking for id etc..this was supplied then account was reinstated..now its limited again..this time permenently due to high risk..bull

Paypal is a must in Uk ebay so i cannot avoid it openly but i would like to somehow integrate a merchant account thats willing to accept paypal along with credit card payments.. Anyone with experiance here?

Well, you could have got a merchant and that wouldn't hold your funds, however eBay would limit you anyways, especially because anybody who uses a merchant account instead of PayPal is considered high risk. You can still use a merchant account and accept PayPal without having to use the crappy merchants like 2Checkout and Authorize.net. It's called PayFlow Pro, and does cost a bit of money to start up along with a monthly fee.

The only way is to have a PayPal business acct, add as many bank accts & credit cards as you can....this will raise your limits.
Then, send them scans from the cards, ids, utility bills, etc...
Finally give them a call, and tell them about your problem.
They will help you for sure, they are just afraid of fraud, that's why they put these limitations.
