Hello there,

I would like to ask if powersellers can bring in higher profits than just using a normal account with around 300 feedback.

The product is regarding gaming which is OK for the English eBay and GOOD for the German eBay.

For example partner with a powerseller or just try and sell it from my own personal account?

Thanks!

PS: I am NOT looking for a JV (will do that only once I manage to keep up with the rules), so don't PM me for that. I just want to see if I should start selling this by myself or not..

Start selling yourself , see how the market goes and then decide whether you need a powerseller account or not.The powerseller account can offer you more sales for sure but in case you target a specific product and you have enough sales with your account you wont need the powerseller account.

You will do better if you open more accounts on Ebay. I would rather have 10 normal accounts and build them up instead of powerseller straight away. You powersell goes down and you will pull your hair out. If your normal goes down make another one to compensate.

The product is WoW audience targetted and it sells pretty great outside of eBay. It has to do with reputation and trust in order to manage and sell this and this is why I am asking.

Thank you for the info!

Powersellers go down as well. It's so much easier if you run few accounts. On one you will eventually be asked for invoices from a supplier and etc. Then tax will hit you and other things. Do what you want but having a few accounts makes life much easier. At least for me..

It largely depends on what you sell. And being a power seller might not help you much. It is better to use multiple accounts
