Question about domainname

Does anybody have an idea if it would help to register a domainname that has the keyword in it twice?

Would it help ranking?

so if the keyword is blackhat i'd register blackhatblackhat.com

wondering if anybody has tried this before

I'm pretty sure it won't help anything. Google is lowering value of keywords in domain name. Nice domain name is only good for users - should be easy to remember, spell etc, nothing to do with search engines.

try to put dash (-) between it or use a niche keyword like "nike-shoes" it will help you more.. and if you are thinking that it will help you in increase your ranks in G then i think it will help you a lil not a lot but using niche is really useful after link building..

couldn't disagree more. it helps, not end all be all, but helps. last week (i guess i like my work, Christmas eve included four domains!) i got to number 1 and number 2 for my top two keywords in FOUR DAYS. Obviously, I used a lot of other techniques, but keyword in domain helps a lot, a lot.
