Been getting into affiliate marketing and had a question about cookies.
When it says cookie duration is 24 hours, does it mean the time the client has to buy that specific item is 24 hours or whatever they buy on the site during that time is accredited to me?

If they buy within 24 hours, you'll get the affiliate commissions.
If they buy after 24 hours, you won't.
Depending on the site you might get affiliate commissions from other items and not just the one that was linked.

How do I look for it? I mean what do these sites usually say to explain if their cookies are only for 1 item or other ones too. Not used to the affiliate wording yet and dont know what to look for.

Oh I though you meant the real cookies coz I would have share my granny's perfect recipe. :p

Hah, I wanted to make a cookie joke too after i wrote the title but decided against it :p

You can read the affiliate rules on the site of your choice, it should be clearly explained there. I think Amazon grants you a higher commission if users buy the exact item you linked, and a lower commission if they buy something else.

It will be valid till 24 hours only, in case user purchase the product within 24 hours it will be counted in your commission else it will not be counted. Multiple websites have different setup, it is on the website to set the expiry date of the cookies. You need to check with the website for the same.
