Question About Commission Junction

Hello, I've been filling out the application for CJ, and for the payment information they ask for my SS#. I do not feel comfortable providing my SS#, I normally use my EIN number.
I'm wondering if anyone who is a CJ member has had any issues regarding providing their SS#, and is there a way to not provide it?

Some CJ members have expressed concerns about providing their SS# lately.
Generally, CJ requires your SS# for tax purposes, especially if you earn over $600 in affiliate sale.
EIN may still be possible
