Hey guys. So I am running a youtube gaming channel on a medium niche. My channel has reached a good level of authority, and any comment that I make reaches position 1 immediately. So, I just spammed three videos of competitors (not direct competitors, but on a different sub-niche) and I've been making 20 to 30 subscribers a day, up from my old 2 to 4 a day.
My comments usually go by: "Hey guys! I am also uploading nail polish videos, mind checking my channel out? Ps: Catty your nails look so pretty!".
Obviously this is just a gay example so I don't reveal much of who I am. But in these comments I try to get people to my channel while talking about the video itself. That way it feels like I am a fan of Catty's videos and not just self promoting me.
So, what are the chances of me getting in trouble with this? I know that spamming comments can and most likely will be harmful to the channel, but since I try to add that "I am a fan of this guy" touch, will I still face problems?
Thank you.
