Hi guys,

I wanna open a review site.
The problem is I havent chose my niche yet, and im afraid to start with the wrong one (have few ideas).

Is it necessary that the domain will include the niche keyword?
Or is it good to combine the word "review" in the domain and
in case I wanna switch between niches Ill just change the content?
And wont need to buy a new domain..

Thanks in advance!

First do your research on what niche your interested in. Then choose your domain name.

So in case the first niche fails Ill have to buy new domain?

You should go to a shrink... OP, are you high? Your last questions should have been:

where am I?
or
who am I?

EDIT:

1- choose your niche
2- go for a meaningful COM domain
3- do not include hyphens.
4- having "reviews" in domain name is not mandatory.
5. have a clear mind.

Hello, I am planning on registering a domain soon. I would like to know why no to have hyphens in the domain name?

1- choose your niche

This is a silly question to ask, but I am new to this, what do you mean by "niche", you mean creating a keyword that doesn't exist or what?

I am also going to register for a domain name soon, but the one that I come up with is just two common words combining together. I thought it is easy to remember, so am I doing the wrong thing?

You better include the keyword but most important take your time to find the right one who makes you feel confortable. I spent 2 months getting mine. so good luck

when you say keyword, do you mean a word that is so unique that is not exist in english language( ie a makeup word) ?
could someone clarify to me what does "niche" actually refer to? I am just a bit confused. Thanks,

I think he meant that you have to choose your "niche" and add most searchable keyword. I.E. niche - toasters + keyword - review. So your domain would look like this "toastersreview"

Thanks for giving me an example :D that helps! I see now this is how people create those awesome site names.

On a whole to start a review site the word "review" is needless in domain but if you review about a specific product then its ok to include the word along with your domain and go for .com

How important is the keyword in the url? I'm choosing a domain and don't know whether to go for something catchy that will encourage clicks or something more focused which will be easier to rank. What do you guys reckon?
