    Hey guys,

So I just want to ask a question about buying a site since I have never bought a site before, I just created my own.

I have recently post a thread in DP for buying a website and found one that interest me, it is also listed in flippa but I don't really know if it will continue to earn months after I get it or be just another crappy site that does not get any decent traffic or none at all.

I can pm you that website (listing in flippa) if you want but I do not want to post it here. Also the seller said that it is all automated so I'm a little bit worried that it may be penalize due to it being some sort of an autoblog. Can someone help me figure if this is a worthwhile investment or not?

NOTE: The website was created only this april and it is earning about from $30 early months and $100 just this month from the proof that seller give, Also the price is a little stiff from what I expected I think he is considering selling it for about 1200-1500 USD or more. So that is what is bugging me, since it just been created a couple of months ago then why sell it so quickly. Do you thinkg it is a good investment or not?

    Thanks guys,

PS: Sorry I do not buy websites before this is my first time so excuse me for being a little ignorant about this kind of stuff.

If the income is not stable (3+ months constant) then dont buy at 12x price.
Verify the Google Analytics data before buying,
    No analytics = possible scam.

Also if its a MNS the max you should pay is 5x monthly earning.

Ask for income proof and see how much it has been generating since inception.

Most important is the traffic and PR, if the PR is above 3 and it has a consistent amount of traffic from analytic proof, then give it a shot otherwise you are better off starting a new domain from the scratch.

That is too much. If it all checks out, I would offer a clean 450 just cause it is only 3 months old. Another thing you mentioned, he has it listed in DP and Flippa, that is against the DP TOS, so that may say something about the seller. Nothing is automated, everything requires some type of intervention. I would feed him with a large spoon.

Before you think of buying this site , you need to ask verified analytics , adsense proof via teamviewer and also the keywords that the specific site ranks for.
A site making 100 $ will sell for about 1k$ , depending on the people who bid on it , if are two guys that really want the site they will bid and bid ...

You can be assured that you are buying a legitimate earning site looking through the background of the maker as well as, check for proofs of earnings. Tracing the site's income for straight 6 months can really help. If stable, buy it. If not, disregard it. :)

One other thing to remember is that you have to know what to look for in the google analytics

    - Not only do you need to look for traffic, but look at its source
    - A good portion of the traffic should come from search engines, otherwise it could be faked
    - Make sure its consistent
    - Find out which keywords are driving the traffic

Some people see analytics then assume everything is legit, when you need to read into it a bit more.

Thanks guys I will do all what you said:

Look for the complete analytics and adsense. I will ask him if he can get me into the analytics and adsense in teamviewer. The website is just about 4-5 months old so checking its PR is not really an option I think.

Also the seller has reduced the BIN price over and over again it is now $850 and reduce the bidding time to 7 days, for those who wants to see just say so and I will PM the link. I am now more cautious because of this since he is really trying to get rid of that site so quickly.

Like other people said you need to do some in depth research on the site first. Sounds like it's earning from SEO so check out the backlinks use Opensiteexplorer or Majestic SEO. They could have just spammed the hell out of the site for some quick rankings that could collapse at any point leaving you with a worthless site.
