Question about blogger/blogspot

I was wondering whether or not I should place all of my blogs on the same blogger/blogspot account, or if I should I create multiple blogger accounts and link them together.

I am trying to use Google adsense to make money and so far have only made 19 cents, so before I go any deeper I would like to know if I should do this or not. Also, any blogspot tips in general would be appreciated, thank you.

I have all of mine across 2 or 3 accounts. Simply because, I didn't like the really long list of blogs especially those I don't update as often, cluttering up my dashboard. You can easily move them from one account to another if you ever wish to do so.
 
i never make more than 3-4 blogs per adsense account. I have some 20 odd blogspots blog. I'm in love with it as it gets indexed naturally.
 
I've know some im's who put as much as 30 blogs on one account.

I'm more paranoid and keep mine low, never gone beyond 6 blogs per google account.
 
guys this is paranoia. If you are white hat and not doing anything shady, then you can certainly have many blogs on one blogger account. If you are worried about a ban, then you are probably doing something you shouldn't be.

If google wanted to restrict you they would limit the number of blogs you can make. I know someone with 4000 blogs on blogger.

You will have to backup that with some proof. Why not? Its been proven that blogger blogs can rank just as easy as others. I have knocked out .com domains from the SERps with blogspot.com domains before.

yeah i'm too lazy to split them all up across accounts, i'll be getting domains for most of them though which should help with ranking
 
It's a bad idea to build your business on Google's platform to begin with (most people are self-hosted) but if you have to do it I would suggest you spread things out a bit.
 
Google isn't going to do anything if you are up and up (i.e. whitehat).

If you aren't then it won't matter what platform you are on, you will risk a ban.
 
I would also agree that you should spread the sites across multiple accounts. I have found that if your adsense spots do not convert well then you will get smart-priced on all the sites you have under that account.
 
Look guys, Google developed the blogger platform to encourage people to blog and create content and interact on the web.

They have no limit to how many blogs you can make, nor does it say anything about that in their TOS. They have some rules around adsense, thats fine, stay on the straight and narrow and you are not going to have a problem.

Its just another web fairly tale that they will ban you if you have 10+ sites, or 100+ sites or whatever.
 
It's good to have no more than 3 to 5 blogs per account and open up another blog account. For whatever reason (they don't usually point it out), Google could shut down your account/blogspot even if you don't have any wrong doings. Just speaking from personal experience.

The both blogs are in the same niche
 
I don't agree that blogger blogs earn less. My highest earners are blogger blogs... Though my self hosted wordpress blogs are quite new. But I'm earning good with blogger blogs. What is quite not good with blogger blogs is that you can't SEO optimize them well like in wordpress. I get to the top of the SERPs at first then I'm dragged down below when some SEO-optimized entries come along.
 
I love blogger blogs! They get indexed fast, they're easy to monetize, and Blogger is owned by Google, so it works flawlessly with other Google things.

I'm currently working on cranking out 100 of these things - all whitehat. Then I'm going to work on the SEO aspect of it. Hopefully I can make a few cents a day from each blog. It doesn't sound like much, but when the blogs get indexed and grow more, it really adds up.

Can you point me to some reference material on this subject? Or a blogger policy that states this because I am getting like $0.8 for 2000 page impressions. Or is page views something different?
