question about backlinks

ok so lets say I have 100 backlinks and I go back and do a second backlink to my website with the same exact backlinks I already made. I hope that makes sense. but basically I am wondering will that affect my site negatively or give it a boost or will it do absolutely nothing.

If you build backlinks from the same domains it will have absolutelly no effect.
Try to use unique domains.

thank you and by unique you mean just different domain then the domains I have already gotten links from. what about profile links if I made different user names but with my site would that make any difference?

Yeah, you are going to want to find unique root domains. Each link that comes from the same root is going to have diminishing value. Google is pretty smart on picking that shit up. Try and find new sites to make accounts on if you want more profile links.

Just try to get backlinks from the different domains, if possible then use same niche (that you have). It does't make any sense to get links from the same root domain.

It's not really a recommended practice, try to find new backlink sources.

When I red about google panda I found some useful key points about the way same domains can be detected:
- domain names,
- source of link is a copy of target,
- owned by the same entity,
- hosted by the same entity,
- were created by the same entity,
- based on whether the two resources have identical or similar content,
- identical or similar images,
- identical or similar formatting, e.g., identical or similar Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and so on

Be careful with backlinks these days.
In fact, the big "link shop" site is now full of PR5-8 domains and cost very low. Meaning? No demand anymore )
Articles and trusted sites is the key. Backlinks are kaput. Well almost
