hello there guys, would like to ask something about backlinks, to do backlinks for a site does the backlinks have to be niche related for google rank?

It does not have to be related, the site or the page. However you want the link within related content if you can.

I believe, backlinks have to be related to your webpage. Sometimes, the website is not completely related to your webpages, but if the linking pages are related they are good.

Not necessarily! The backlinks should be of any other niche as in a niche specific article, there can be some gadget or software that can be downloaded from any other site (maybe your site). So don't bother about that much but if it matches the niche, its cool!
