So I'm new to Autoblogging. I have been doing my homework here at BHW by reading around various threads on AB. However I have a couple questions. I tried the search function but it's not turning up what I am looking for.

    1. When autoblogging, is it best to target a niche with high CPC and lower competition or a very popular niche. (I have read mixed reviews)

    2. As far as promotion goes...does anyone use reddit anymore to get visitors? I tried it with NO success.

Would Scrapebox do? After setting up the AB just do some blasts with scrapebox?

    3. Themes... I have heard some say to go with a very simple, adsense integrated theme. While others have said to go with a niche related theme that is more appealing to the eye.

What has worked best for y'all?

The advice that I have heard is to go for the best looking theme, not the "optimized" adsense theme. I would like to hear more about promoting as well. I have over 100 autoblogs recently created that I need to promote!

Scrapebox does help with new autoblogs, get a lot of backlinks, especially from some high pr sites, and your bump in the rankings. Then you should see some SE traffic.

OP, i hope you're doing more than just adsense to monetize these. Try not to put all of your eggs in one basket. There's so many ways to make money from AB's.
And as far as themes go, i would do a massive search on free wp themes and get a huge collection built up, so you can always find the right theme for your niche.
SB is good for backlinks, but remember to use article marketing and social bookmarking as well. Try XgenSEO or Magic submitter. Anything that will automate submissions. You'll want to make the whole process automated, not just with the content. Make sure the content is solid as well.

Before saying my answers, am also new to autoblogging am replying just with my experience and little success. It just feels good to be in the community for which am working on :D

IMHO its better to target a niche with high CPC and lower competition. If you choose very popular niche you may need to think of traffic generation methods other than seo, which will not be scalable i think.

like yesterday i got 82 visits and received 25 clicks.

Depends - I used to use niche-specific free themes. There are some awesome ones out there but they come with a big tradeoff. They can be buggy and not keep up with your wordpress updates and you are forced to give backlinks to whomever puts shit in the footer (porn, auto insurance, whatver....that has nothing to do w/ the niche).

I moved to Thesis (Free version from BHW) last summer and just standardized everything but customized the sites by doing niche specific headers and changing the site colors. Sites are much more stable and you don't have to hunt around for a new theme everytime you build a new blog.
