Question about articles?

I have purchased GSA SER, and GSA CAPTCHA Breaker. I use a keyword tool to generate keywords for anchor text. I've seen a lot of posts about article spinning and article generators. My question is what advantage do articles provide? Also, are article generators/spinners used for T1 content? Or primarily just for comment spam? Thank you. I know am noob...

Yea, I think you got a bit lost.

Articles are the essence of SEO, without articles, it is technically impossible to rank for a keyword (haters, bear in mind I said technically). Usually, the higher quality the articles are, the more people will stop and read them and at the same time, the algorithm will detect its quality; so you get benefits from both.

When using "content generators" what you are doing is basically scrapping pieces and bits from all over the net and then reconstructing it into a shitty article. This is usually not a great idea as the content could devaluate your rankings instead of helping them.

About "spinners". Spinners are simple programs that restructure already writen articles. The better ones will make them look pretty much unique and they will still be readable. This is an okay technique and it is what 99% of "SEOers" use on their daily basis. Why? Because having a team of native writers creating content for your link building is VERY costly.

In regards of your T1 question. You want to use as much quality as possible as this will be directly linked to your site. So if you use spun content chances are that you will not get as good and fast rankings as if you used completely unique and nice looking ones.

HOWEVER

SEO is full of tricks and hidden paths, so TESTING is the only actual way to get to know if something really works or not. Don't be afraid, and start testing.

When you say articles are you saying that people leave full articles as forum/blog posts? Or are you saying that they use articles for content on their own sites? I get that it's important to have keyword rich articles on your own websites. More what I am wondering is if people use full articles with GSA SER, or if you're just supposed to use generic spin text as comments since no one really reads those anyway?

I strongly wouldn't suggest you to use auto generate/spun content for first tier unless it is manually spinned or use it for your tier 2/3.

I get that. My question is are spun articles typically used for comment spam? Or are they used as content on tier 2 and 3 sites? It seems to me that posting an article in a comment would seem unnatural and likely wouldn't be read anyway, and using spun articles for Tier 1 sites is a bad idea, so when would you use them?

Can anyone recommend a good article spinner? I am considering Wicked article creator since it interfaces directly with SER.
