question about articles

If i post articles on my website that are niche relevant, but do not contain any of my keywords and are not about my products, do i get any benefit from this content.

Example:

Niche - weight loss
Keyword - super mega fat burner xxx
Article - proper diet to lose weight

You probably won't be able to rank that particular on Google, BUT what you will get is more authority because you are showing Google that you are posting for your visitors rather than for Google. You will have an advantage over your competitors because they are most likely trying to rank all of their articles and keyword stuff like crazy.

Remember think natural and you'll be successful. When it comes to on site SEO you must forget about Google and focus on your visitors.

You should include a few of your keywords in the articles. You don't need many of them. Change some of your sentences around and throw in a couple of keywords.
