I have an excellent IT friend that is trying to find a job online with US client, how much is the rate for a level 1 and 2 IT support? or how much can he rate himself base on the US standards?

honestly the bigger angle worth thinking about is whether he positions himself as a freelancer vs contractor because for US clients on upwork or toptal, level 1 support guys are pulling $15-25/hr but if he packages himself as a "managed IT support" contractor he can charge way more than that rate
