Question about Amazon

Hi,
I'd like to open an e-commerce website and I was wondering if Amazon is a good to go? Is it possible to sell products on YOUR website directly without having to redirect your visitors to Amazon?

I don't think that's possible. You will have to send your visitors to Amazon. If they have the one click order option, then it would perhaps take lesser time for them. You should search the forum there are tons of threads. Good luck !

if you would like to have your own website, try: shopify, squarespace.....
if you want to open an account on a based ecommerce website with high traffic: try amazon (best site i ever used so far), etsy (if your products are handmade), ebay (possible but not my fav)

after settledown your "home", try to raise your brand/products awareness on pinterest, facebook, tumblr, blog.... to get more traffic/

also can try retailmenot, coupon... to give away coupon for products

anyway, my advice is when you do something, focus 100% on it and you will get. my suggest is starting from amazon. Good luck!

all websites i've seen redirects to amazon, but in my opinion i think it grants confidence on the user.
