Question About Amazon Niche Sites

I'm trying to start my internet marketing career with Amazon niche sites but I'm having a lot of trouble on the first part, choosing a niche. When I make one of these sites am I aiming for a certain amount of local searches or worrying about CPC as with adsense sites? Should I want something with high competition, showing its a hot product or something with low competition assuming it will be easy to rank?

I agree but for start up I think only Amazon is enough and If you can not use CPA properly you will also face problem on your conversation rate for Amazon !
