Does anyone know, with amazon affiliate program, once the referal rate goes up (after selling so many products in a month), does the increased rate effect all items sold in the month, or only the items sold after you hit the refereal rate increase threshold ?

assuming you are in UK David,

[h=2]When does the month end?[/h] The month ends at 11:59 p.m. the last day of the month.

Advertising fees are paid by direct deposit, Amazon.co.uk Gift Certificate, or cheque approximately 60 days after the end of the month for which they are being paid.

[h=2]Associate-Defined Cheque Minimum[/h]You can now define your own cheque minimum. The minimum cheque threshold of 50 GBP still applies to all Associates but many have requested higher thresholds. When you input your threshold, we simply hold your payment until your earnings have reached that amount. If you have selected to be paid by cheque, enter your desired threshold (as a whole number without decimal points or commas), click on the Save Changes button, and you are ready to go.
Please note that you can change your threshold at any time but it must be submitted by the first day of the payment month to be effective. For example, if you would like to raise your threshold to 100 GBP, it must be entered by March, 1st to be effective for January earnings paid in March. If you change your threshold on the 15th of March, it will be effective for February earnings paid in April.
Lastly, this feature is only available for cheques. The 25 GBP minimum for direct deposits and Amazon.co.uk gift certificates still apply for all Associates.

also, go to

[h=1]Amazon.co.uk Associates Discussion Board[/h]

I am talking about US. Anyway, I want to know about how referal rates are calculated, and if they effect all sales or just sales per each increase in referal rate.

All David and with your seo skills you should be on the A-zon bandwagon too, sure they pay out a bit less than other affiliates but people trust them..

All sales right? Cool.
a-zon?

Not all the sales would be at the same rate. After it increases, the sales after will be effected by the increase. You see what I'm saying?

After I read getwatchuwant's post, I check the percentage coms of all my current sales this month and it say 6% by them all.

so I think he is right and it does affect all sales.
