Hello, correct me if Im wrong but I went to sign up for an Amazon associates account and I noticed that during the sign up process they asked me for a URL of the site that I would be selling products on. Well i havent really gotten that far as to create an actual money site because I wanted to thoroughly research certain keywords before making the leap.

But my question is, is it actually through "Amazon Associates" that users are placing products onto their sites to get paid or is there a different methodology that you have to go about doing this?

If it is through Amazon Associates then if someone has "multiple" money sites then would you have to set up a new account for each one of your money sites or can you just use the same account for all of them although the initial URL you used to sign up isnt the only money site bringing in money. I just don't want to start and bring in money from different money sites to one account and get banned (not saying i will be successful like that but just planning ahead).

Can someone explain to me what the correct method is. I just wanted to start up an account but don't have a URL at the time being. Thanks for any info.

You just copy paste the product affiliate URL and paste it anywhere you want (multiple blogs or w.e). you don't have to open an account for each site. Just open one account and use the affiliated product URL's given by them.

Thank for that. Does the initial URL have to be valid or can I just add a URL that hasnt been set up as of yet? Do they verify the site prior?
