Question about AI-generated content

I am generating content with the help of AI and I see that many of you who do this, like to try to target low competitive keywords and that makes some sense.

However, if I search for a keyword like ''Kaliningrad'' (highly competitive) for example. The AI will generate a lot of long tail keywords and queries related to the subject that might fit into the low traffic keywords. In this example, the AI would generate questions like ''are there military bases in kaliningrad?'' -- ''are there atomic bombs in kaliningrad?'' -- ''do people in Kaliningrad speak Russian?

The question is:

Is it worth looking for specific, non-competitive keywords in that case? Or should I just use a basic keyword and let the AI automatically generate a bunch of long-tail keywords and be done with it?

If you are doing this in huge volumes, I would focus on medium to low competitive keywords at the beginning. Then if you get some traffic and maybe social signals, throw in som high competitive ones and start thinking about quality offpage SEO.

I see, thanks for responding.

But in my case, if I use a highly competitive keyword, the AI will generate an article with multiple questions related to the subject. And these questions (keywords) are not competitive.

I don't know if I am expressing myself well and if you understand, but it would be like a competitive keyword article however, they are large articles (+5000 words) and covers many subjects regarding (including low competitive keyowrds) on the subject.

Long tail low competitive keyword is always helpful to rank fast. Rinse and repeat to get the ultimate methods.

I always go for the high traffic keyword. for 2 reasons:
1. it always pick long tail keywords on the way
2. you start to see traffic even when it is ranked on page 2.

You can enrich your text with close semantics with Yourtextguru for example. It's a good way to get new keywords with AI generated content

Or you can scrape suggestions from PAA section and answer those

My experience says competitive keywords don't rank without links.
You are saying that your articles cover a lot of longtail keywords that are not competitive.
In that case- it's fine to generate articles on competitive keywords.
I believe you will publish a lot of articles on your website. At least 200.
Why don't you write half articles around low, competitive keywords and other articles for the main competitive Keywords?
