Question about adsense (just got accepted after 8 year ban)

So, 8 years ago i was making some nice small income for a start, and then i did MANY things wrong and i was banned. After many reconsideration requests i never ever got accepted again.

So i made a website for a friend, (he just wanted a very simple site) and i added a few articles just to see if i would get accepted in adsense. And i was! Only problem the google account has my friends name. From my side this is not a problem as he will never ever use the user name or passwords in his life. All he wants is that the site is there (which i made for him for free).

My questions is, if things go well i plan to transfer any income to my wifes name and account. Do i need to change the name of the google account before i do that? Or is this a big no no in any way?

Your advices are welcome, to make sure i wont scr@#W this again!

No you do not at least not in the US. Just add the bank account and confirm it via the test deposits. I have not found they check the name. I have many accounts that are under a different name on the taxes and the bank accounts and never had an issue.

You can't change your name in adsence, So add bank account under your name and see what happen.

Thank you all for your reply, just to make sure that i understand correctly. I used a gmail account to apply for adsense. This gmail account is an account that i created but has my friends name and telephone number. I do have the option to change both the name and the number on the gmail account that i use to apply for adsense.
On the other hand when i check all setting in adsense when i am logged in, i see no name there whatsoever, only a blank space where is asking me to put contact information (asks me to put name and contact email).
So you are telling me although i can change the name on gmail you do not recommend it?

I realize that my best safe option is to leave it as it is and just enter the bank account of my wife. But i am curious what u mean when you say that in USA you cant change the name. you mean you actually cant change it or that you must not change it?

You could create new account with your wife name and apply the Adsense with that website. During that time don't use your Adsense code

What a Great idea! i already installed adsense ads in the site. will it be ok if i disable them right now?

I made a video that shows you how to change it. It does not matter what name is on the bank account. It does not have to match

Yes that's fine

you can transfer adsense account to other gmail, look for access & authorization, invite ur other email or wife email & set as admin and then remove the primary email.
2nd option is reapply with the same site, but u need to wait for a few weeks/ a month because in my exp u will get rejected if u apply with the same site if the time range is too short.
