I run tv repair service in the usa and on my website where I list the locations where we currently provide service.

my plan is to expand the business continuously. For example, I may currently provide TV repair in New York, new jersey and pennsylvania. If I hire a technician in Chicago, I would add Chicago to the same existing page. If the next day I hire another technician in Los Angeles, I would add Los Angeles as well.

So potentially, I could be adding a new city almost every day as I hire new technicians and expand our actual service coverage.

Im not creating separate pages for every city. Im only updating the same service area in website front page and adding locations where we genuinely have a technician available.

could updating the front (main) page and adding a new city almost every day cause any issue with Google, such as doorway pages, spam, or a future algorithm update?

The locations would be genuine. I would only add a location after actually hiring a technician who can provide TV repair services there

If those locations are genuinely supported by your technicians then there is no problem adding it even everyday and the cities can be on the home page of the website too so with that you will even be more reliable and you need to have a good support system in place too

There is nothing wrong to add separate pages for each location. Making it unique and doing proper local seo can even bring traffic to your location pages.
It becomes doorway page if, so avoid doing this:
City-Specific Spam: Making dozens of near-identical pages like plumber-in-chicago.html and plumber-in-nyc.html that all link to the exact same generic service page.

Here a safe way to go about getting locations to run on your frontend without issues. Utilize internal links. Since one site will be handling every location. Separate pages will handle locations then, they will all be linked to the main page.

Updating the homepage every day isn’t the problem by itself. The risk is creating thin city pages that are almost identical and only exist to rank. A service-area hub with real coverage details, booking information and useful location pages is stronger than adding a long list of city names.

Honestly, as long as you're only adding real cities with actual technicians on that one page, Google won't see it as doorway or spam. Frequent updates to the main page can even be a good signal for freshness. The only thing to watch is keeping the page readable, but if it's all legit, you have nothing to worry about.
