Hey all,

I am having problems with articles being accepted with images. This is what AC tells me.

"Thank you for contributing to AC! One or more of your images was
removed because it did not meet our image submission guidelines."

Usually, I pick up an image from google random search and upload it. Any information on this matter would be appreciated. AC requires one to fill the below mentioned details if you are adding images.

Credit
Copyright
Image caption

Can you guys tell me what you guys stuff into these 3 section.

Just one thing, if you don't have the permission to re-publish from the image-owner, don't upload to AC at least, to avoid a possible ban.

Image caption should preferably contain your keyword/s for SEO purpose.

Give credit to the image-owner / website from where you took the image.

The following are the only sources from which Associated Content allows you to obtain and publish images. No exceptions.

1. You

2. Online Press Kits

3. www.sxc.hu

4. www.morguefile.com

5. commons.wikimedia.org

6. www.istockphoto.com
You must purchase images from istockphoto.com - you cannot simply right-click and save the image to your computer

U can't use copyright images with AC, simple as that. Also adding images don't really affect pay rates much if any.

I notice NO difference in article payments with images and ones without. You have to use original images for them to take them as well, or something with no copyright. One thing I will say is submitting images of things like storms coming to the area etc. that I take pictures of get you a lot more views for performance pay than you would think & will raise your clout level quick. You only have to submit like 5 pictures...

The random pics on Google are owned by copyrights from the sites they' re posted on. Use sxc.hu. I know weird site format but put www. in front of it. Their pictures are stock, non copyright. Cite them as the source, no probs here when I use them
