Query Regarding SEO

Hello,

I've one site which got strong traffic and backlinks, Targeted keywords also exist on #1 Google, #1 Bing, #1 Yahoo.
Let's call that site as SITE A.
Now, I'm starting another site {Call it as SITE B} (Almost completed and doing live today) which got same niche as SITE A.
I want to Keep SITE B as the main and primary focus.

So should I redirect domain A to site B?
or
Should I use it as parked domain?

PS : The requirement is for one of client.

You should redirect A to site B. Your site never get hurt by google. So its the best way. But remember when you will redirect, do it perfectly.

Okay, I'll do that.
What about the old site backlinks? will they exist on google still or not?

PS : Old site is since 2003.

The site A backlinks remains exist on Google and the credit of those links will be added to site B after redirection.

My suggestion is that you could direct your page A to B. So that the quality of your page A still remains the same

I've seen redirection work, back in the day, and eventually the new site thats receiving redirected traffic actually is awarded the page rank of the original site. Not sure if thats still the case, but thats how it used to work.

A simple 301 is more than adequate.
