Query regarding designing T-shirt on teespring

Most of the threads that I have read about teespring were of people selling t-shirts with quotes written on it. I wanted to ask if I design a T-Shirt with a photo of an actor or character -
For ex.
Tshirt with a photo of john wick
Tshirt with a photo of Robert Downey Junior
Will it lead to any copyright issue in the future?
Is it legal to do it in teespring?

actually that raises a good point what happens if you realise a tshirt with a cartoon image of a celebrity.

No, you can't, if he wanted to he could sue your ass, you can make fun of his face as much as you want, as soon as you are going to sell shirts copyright jumps in.
