Queries related to Fiverr

1) I launched a gig and it was live for 2 days. Then I got a message that it failed to pass review process and is removed. Do all the new gigs go through review process ? And it happens after 2 days for all ?

2) When I log out and search for my own Gig with keyword, it does not show up among Fiverr results.. This is also a new gig.

what you're seeling?

Yup few gigs like social media services and few keywords in gigs trigger review on Fiverr.

yeah as said, you might be selling something against their ToS

If it doesnt pass review its not going to show up in search result, if its live, your gig is not optimized properly and dont have enough reviews, plus country does matter in Fiverr, tons of factors to rank gig in fiverr

You seemingly answered both of your questions lol.

1. Yes and yes.

2. Like you said, it's a new gig. It prob won't be anywhere near the top of search results if there at all if it's a new gig. Give it time, get some sales/reviews, and you'll start to climb.

I know that will not be on top. But it should show in search results in bottom. There are other gigs showing for same keyword without having any review or order.

Yeah, but not new gigs. Also, are your keywords and everything completely optimized? Tossed in the word "Fiverr" a couple times in your description? There's a bunch of things really, but it being a new gig is really why.

If you are selling reviews, ripped copies of e-books/tutorials etc., social media likes and stuff like that (fake stuff to be more precise) you won't pass the review process.

is it a new update on fiverr? does everyone experiencing it?

I have encountered it before.

I think the bait and switch method still works last year around August- September. That means putting up a legit gig, once it's live and running, swap it out with the real gig.

Can anyone confirm if it's still working now?

i am guessing that it still works though!

Hey man,

I've dabbling on Fiver for quite a while and I have been through the same stuff. There's no going around it, Fiverr's policies on these things downright suck, along with their customer support.

For question no.1, you need to see what the reason they banned you was. If the reason is evident, simply fix it and reupload your gig without the thing that triggered the ban. If you are not sure what you did, then contact Fiverr's support and they will probably let you know after a couple of message when you get a support rep that will actually read your message.

For question no.2 of course you will not appear, this takes time and effort. You can get a friend to place a couple of "fake" purchases (seriously tho, DO NOT overdo it, I'd do a max of 2-3) and then you have to hustle on the Buyer Request forums where random people post what they are looking for. there's no easy way about this, you can go for days without any orders but once you get some real reviews in, you can scale. Hitting up forums helps as well and online media presence too.

TL;DR : as with every site that offers online services, the site will not promote you if you are unknown and have nothing to show for, would you send your mum to buy a car from someone who just rolled into town, you have never heard of and no one knows who they are?
