Ey guys just a quedtion:

If one of my pages of my domains does not exist and there are external links pointing to that page:

Does it pass link juice to your domain or not?

Thanks in advance.

The page would need to exist to pass the juice, but I'm pretty sure some of the 404 redirect plugins can send the juice to another page like your homepage. Could be wrong though.

Read these:

I appreciate your support, good source of info.

thanks

A link to a non-existent page (404 response code) cannot pass on anything since it is a broken link. It can actually be an effective and quick way of 'disavowing' bad links (if they're pointing to an inner page you can just remove the page and it will have the same effect according to Google. Be wary though - if you redirect the page the bad links remain in place - the web server has to return a 404 response code to the spider / client.)

Yep a 301 or 302 will do the trick. Also if it's a WP site, as someone mentioned there are plugins available that can keep a handle on missing pages / 404 responses.

Do you know any plugin that can do that??

I have purchased a domain, and it has external links pointed to internal url of that domain, so I dont want to loose that linkjuice :S

Thanks in advance.

Try this:404 to Start

Wow, nice one!

Then all missed pages will redirect passing the linkjuice to the main domain?

Thanks!
