I am starting a youtube channel now. And my mindset is to put as many quantity as I can. And somehow acceptable quality. Few editing, no customized thumbnail. My idea is capture - upload approach.
The niche is specific to my profession which is electronics engineering.
I dont post entertaining DIY but more of explaning the principle and theory behind those DIY videos. I speak without background music just my natural voice but I ensure that the content is dense and valueable.
I just started last week and I am using my 10 year old sleeping yt channel.
I am getting views from fb groups. Like I am member to around 30 groups and I get 150 views when I share the link.
I am planning to post 1 or 2 videos a day.
I use my phone as camera so I dont need to use my pc to edit. Except if i need to show my desktop. I can even upload without any post processing.
With the other threads I am reading that yt now has unpredictable algorithm so I am also thinking to promote a udemy course on my channel and will be exploring affiliate links (i have no idea yet) as well since some of the kits and modules I used are in amazon.
It is just time consuming to post on so many facebook groups to promote my channel.
I can say that my channel is optimized via title description and tags. Btw I am using tubebuddy. I can rank on the first 10 result on some yt search.
I hope you can give me feedback guys. Thanks.
