There are two ways of being a black hat.

(1) Create vast numbers of spammy sites or blogs and hope for the best.

(2) Create a genuinely white site and then use a few black methods to gain backlinks and ranking.

Which do you think pays off better in $$$?
Throw sh*t at the wall or perhaps only make a couple of well thought out sites a month and nurture them?

Because I do a lot of adult stuff - I have had far better results feeding the main site with heaps and heaps of feeder sites. Not really spammy but as little effort as possible put into it. Mainly RSS stuff.

Certainly a good idea to keep the main site as white hat as possbile, but the feeder sites can be spammed and Black Hatted as much as you like.

I use both methods and have great results with both. Personally I like throwing the number 2 touch more than anything else because I like creating new sites and trying new ideas. The problem I have is I turn them into my new baby and fight for a decent price when I try to sell sometimes it works sometimes I'm disappointed.

Hello,

Option 2 for myself.

I would avoid to create plenty of sites because:
- you could be banned easier (Adsense on scrapped/auto sites for instance)
- you really need a full automatization to handle everything (Content, link, DNS stuff, ...)

Cheers.

Well there is not written laws about that
but I think it depend on your niche.

You can have as many parasite sites
that feed traffic to your main site and
get tremendous results but then you have
to be careful to know what you are doing
you don't wanna lose leave foot prints
