Hey guys so I had a question about link quality. Would making a hubpages page and linking it back to your money site count as a high authority link since its on topic and would most likely have good anchor text? Or should i just stick to spammin blog comments. Thanks

On topic: I believe that quality links always is better than quantity links. And even though quantity links still work, future improvements in google's algorithm will make more and more of them useless. When you only have quality links you wont only be protected from the algorithm updates, but get improved rankings every time it is one

I think articles, web 2.0 stuff, high PR, LOW pr and you'll be okay.

It would just count as a very low quality spammy link. You're probably better off using your time to spam blog comments.
bro please keep your focus on quality backlinks. Don't run for the quantity, HIT the quality button and 110% you will see the increase in SERP. Google loves fresh content and backlinks from High PR website and make sure that the niche is also same for example suppose you have the soccer website and you're getting back link from thermal plant website, Google will treat that link as a bad link and google can penalize you also. SO FOCUS SHOULD BE ON QUALITY
