Try fiverr, I have found some decent ones. Helped my app big time.

Yeah, Fiverr is a good place to find writers etc. You can also try iWriters.com, Odesk and Staff.com.
These are great sites if you are looking for freelancers or those who can take short duration jobs.
However, if you need a part time / full time writer or anything that can be done at home, Staff.com is the best go to site for this.
