Can anyone give me an advice on how to make a good quality post or article? Someone just told me that I have below average articles. :( It is kinda depressing. I am willing to learn more!

It's pretty straightforward. Make sure your grammar is correct, stay on topic of whatever niche you are writing about, and lay out your article with a start, middle, and end. Don't just ramble on and on about something. Lead the people somewhere, with a call to action, if you are selling something.

But in the end, it's always about creating value to the reader. If you do that, people will not complain (or at least very minimally). Good luck.

There's no secret sauce but it does take a modicum of writing skills combined with original content and at least one interesting take on a given subject. Now getting to that point takes some time and investment on your part!

This is a real hit or miss. Unless the person is reputable, I wouldn't waste the money on finding people at random to write stuff for me. Because in the end, most times, you are left correcting their stuff (grammar). Writing is a skill, so you have to make sure you are hiring a skilled writer, not just someone who likes a certain topic and can write English (if that is the language of choice).

Developing writing skills requires lots of reading and writing practice. You gotta read lots of good, well written, English and then practice a lot. It's a skill you can develop to some extent, but surely you won't learn how to be a Shakespeare ;)

dont think yourself as a writer, consider yourself as a reader while writing articles. A good article must have good starting as well as good ending. And if you are writing SEO articles, dont stuff keywords while writing articles. if you wish you can write articles with funny concepts. And whatever the article is make them informative..

Make sure you have something to say; then say it. Writing for the sake of writing ends badly.

I agree with the comments above. You need to write a content that is straightforward, very informational, grammatically correct and most of all it should be useful to your readers/target market. While it is good to have an optimized article, your content should also geared toward your readers by prioritizing quality first.

Also, I think this article may help you create good content for your website: affiloramacom/blog/how-to-create-an-authority-blog-using-case-studies

    I hope that helps!

A Quality article? It needs all of the following.......

    1) Attention-grabbing title. If the reader doesn't click the article link, you don't get traffic. Without traffic, you don't make any money.

    2) Quick filter. Not all the people who click on your article headline are your target customers. You need to quickly filter people based on the needs your product or service fulfills by using the first paragraph of the article. This way, only potential buyers or your target audience will be reading further.

    3) Make your case. People read stuff on the Internet because they are LOOKING for something. Fit the stuff you are selling/pushing with the NEED of the reader. You have to explain, in so many words, why your stuff is the SOLUTION to their problems. Open their minds to the possibility.

    4) Call them to action.

    5) Don't be obvious. Engage the reader's emotions.

If you're being told by numerous clients (not just 1) that you're writing is below average, then I'd take a look at example content. Do some searching on Google before you write your article and find inspiration from content that's already out there. Take a look at their title, their subheadings, and they way they format and write the content. Read multiple samples and critique them just as your clients would critique you. I'd do this for about 10 samples, then narrow it down to the top 5, then top 3, then your favorite one. Then evaluate why it's your favorite. What about the author made their style of writing appealing to you? Try to determine what it is you like about the way they wrote the content and then try to replicate their writing style in your own articles.

Here's a tip: Don't take advice from people with terrible grammar. They know nothing about article writing, as they clearly know nothing about English in general. Likewise, don't take the opinion of one person so seriously, let the majority of your clients do the talking. If they aren't happy, try to improve your quality. If you get nothing but good feedback, your critic is a fool.

If it really bothers you, just read a dictionary I guess. I'm not even joking. Just get the gist of the way the English language works, and you will improve in no time. Take pride in your work, and people will notice.

Maybe you can also read some articles on how to improve grammar. It is also important to make an article interesting or informative.

Post something you've written and we'll tell you if it's good enough to even be called below average.

    1- easy to read
    2- informative
    3- unique
4- not full of useless generic stupid sentences like "Nowadays our world is full of troubles that needs to be cared"
    5- having simple clear statements
6- starts and ends with decent paragraphs.

    @ LindaH2

I agree with Edgematch, this is 100% treu and best reply in this thread.

If its ok with Edgematch i ad point 7 and 8 for you.

7- article should be around 1500 words if used for homepage content, if used for web2.0's use article's between 500 and 1000 words.
8- use only one link / article.

A post should be more informative and have quality content. It also relevant to the post and the thread.
