Hey folks,

In the last few years, i started looking into the "self-service" niche for offline businesses.

I like to make money (like everyone here), but i don't really want to depend on Google or Social Media (although i own some businesses on the internet also) so i wanted something physical- a local business which can make me money without haveing employees or to require my presence 8-10 hours per day.

So

1) I started in my country (last year) a self-service car washing - works great - but still requires someone there - for any problems people may encounter.

2) This year - i got into self-service printing machines - basically, people can print/scan/fax from my terminals in 2 mins (got the solution from printbox). I have added 16 machines until now - most of them in Universities and in public institutions.

I have looked into vending machines but..i don't like the niche...

Can you give me some examples of self-service business from your country if you saw any? I'm looking to expand the type of services i offer, and an input from you guys would really help me as i guess there are people all over the world on this forum.

Thank you

these are really solid ideas, especially the instagram printer, since OP is already in the printing business, and in universities, that one seems like a logical next step!

Op you share a good info. This is something I never thought of.

In my country Instagram is not that popular - and let's face it....who is printing photos these days? We all have phones with cloud storage and sd cards where we save them...

What other self services businesses have you saw?

I will add one more : Laundromats - that's the next thing i'mgonna do in a student campus.
