So here we’re happily sailing in Q2 and google decides to hit Q1 goodbye with an update.

Oh, that explains the spike in traffic I had yesterday...

But didn't bring in massive sales or anything like that though

Strange thing is, 2 days ago, traffic was awful. It is so volatile!

Confirmed - i am seeing minor fluctuations on my side.

The thing is these updates would be OK if it was not for the fact that the results are complete crap and there's no connection to anything other than links. I'm seeing sites ranking number 1 for 2mn search KWs with 12k comment spam across 00's of sites.

Now every month updates from Google is like mensuration cycle. You must be afraid when Google skips a month without any update.

Have noticed some change when searching long tail keywords. Google seems to gives me the same results regardless of additional words/context. I don't believe it was to this extent last year.
