[Q] This Method of KW Research Still Works?

I facing some biggest problem when doing kw research since it has been
more two years im not in IM...
Today is my 10 days of kw researching... yet, I still dont feel that
kw I have found are in low competition range.


My Small project is an Amazon Affiliate site.


back to my question, do these method still works when doing kw research ...?
inquotes?
intitle?
inurl?
intilte + inurl?


What else do I need to check other than above methods?
pls guide me and recommend me what else to check for knowing low competition
kwords. Now, i dont have any tools to do this task and money to spend alot
in backlinking (high competition = high quality backlinks needed). If it
low competition kw at least i can generate some money with it and invest in
next big project.

I'm using Google keyword planner tool for free and then doing the rest work.

The way I estimate keyword competition level in the SERPs is by quickly glancing over the SERPs using my own knowledge and the Moz Toolbar, and by looking for how many websites are targeting the exact keyword.

For example, if I had a website with a Domain Authority of 25 about gems and minerals and I wanted to check out the competition level for the keyword "quartz metaphysical properties" in Google, I would quickly take note that YouTube, Google Images, and other major authority websites are not present and nobody is targeting the exact keyword.

So far so good. So after that, I would toggle the Moz toolbar to give an estimate on the PA and DA of each page. I would then notice that all of the pages currently ranking for the keyword (untargeted) are between DA 24 and 40. Despite my site having a lower DA than most of those sites, I would assume that my site would have a chance at ranking for position 2 or 3 with on-page SEO alone (this is how I rank my sites, as stated in my on-page SEO guide here on BHW) based on the factors I mentioned above.

It's not a perfect method, although I have no issue ranking using what I described above (unless the site is brand new and has little to no content, in which case it takes quite a bit longer to rank).

do the intitle,inurl,inanchor,in<h1>,intext "kw" then go to the last page either by clicking through to it or after you did your search and &start=990 at the end of the adress bar thingy dingy
