[Q] Monitized Youtube Channel Change Name and Topic?

Hello BHWCommunity,

I have a youtube channel just accepted by youtube monitazition last week, I have decided to change my topic and brand name.

My question is, is youtube allow this kind of changes? If I'll change it, is it affect my monitazion?

Please help. thank you

You can rebrand. If your monetization will be affected depends on your future niche.

depends on what changes. you cant upload videos that will trigger their bot to demonetise your channel, so read. up on don;ts before you change niche.

Yes, you can do this. Just be careful about doing this often because rebranding a large channel can cause a lot of damage if you aren't careful.

Isn't it obvious, rebranding a youtube channel into a completely different direction can make you lose subscribers, get in unnecessary heat, unjustified reports, etc, etc, etc...
