Hi,
I was wondering why some sites seem to promote or sell a product, but if you subscribe to their newsletter you get it free instead. I don't really get why they prefer to just get your email address. Is this some kind of Cost-per-lead method where they sell the emails gathered to a interested company? Or they just spam your mailbox in hopes that you would eventually buy one of their products?
