All are d0f0ll0w.
Intensedebate comments are counted by google?

well, the reason they are valuable - high PR and the ******** nature.
Tere is really no relation to the fact if the conversation was intense or not lol there is no way a search engine can realise if the conversation is really intense or not

so in short, NO the intensity of the conversation does not matter hehe.

OH! dummy me, I thought he was referring to comments which are called "Intense Debates" so I asked what type of service is it.

Yes, you are right. Google has no way to know if the debate/conversation is intense or not so it wouldn't really matter.

Intense Debate is a blog commenting system that supports Typepad, Blogger and Wordpress blogs.

intense debate is a platform ^^ correct. It is do-follow and yes it gets counted. But now that you have come on a blackhatworld and stated it's name and platform type you can say goodbye to do from follow.

When you find any do-follow link especially from a blog-page which is High PR, it's better not to share it. Just a hint
