Q: Importance Of SEO?

Of course need SEO to rank their own website.

If you can´t rank you´re own SEO agency site, how can you´re customers trust you.

They do.

In our agency before we offered ppc, sometimes seo that we externalised to another guy we knew.

The fact is ; if customers think you do a great service for something, they automatically think you can give the same satisfaction for another service. Basic psychology.

Even if we did no seo at all to our agency website.

I know they do since they have no clue at all, it is just the irony about the whole thing selling SEO and not really know shit about it.

I mean we NEVER sold SEO, but clients asked sometimes by themselves, so we had a guy...

It's funny how it works, they trusted US to do SEO but we didn't even spoke about it on our site. They just assumed if we did PPc correctly, we would do SEO the same...

So we did it.

By the way we hate SEO, we know the importance of it but that shit is so random...

(Nice to tell this on a SEO forum...)

I would do PPC over SEO all day long today.

Depending on a random algorithm for marketing is what I call craziness, but I guess we are in a crazy profession.

Nuff said.

That's the crude reality of this industry.

SEO is a must the higher you rank now days it mean the better is the company and has a solid background also that you have followers or customer that confirm that background so SEO is the presentation card of the company.

SEO is important because search engines aren't perfect. If you don't take steps to counter their failings, then your website will pay the price. For example, if a site doesn't have a proper link structure, then search engines may not crawl and index the site properly which can lower rankings.

SEO, or search engine optimization, is important because it helps websites to rank higher in search engine results pages, which leads to increased visibility and traffic from relevant users. With SEO, you can optimize your website and its content to make it more appealing to search engines, which can ultimately result in more organic traffic and potential customers. Additionally, SEO can help you build brand awareness, establish authority in your industry, and improve the overall user experience on your website. Overall, investing in SEO can help you reach your target audience, generate more leads and sales, and grow your business.

The SEO industry is going through a major earthquake.

You heard that right.

I'm sure you didn't hear that here first.

It's easy to see why with the launch of ChatGPT, the online search game has changed forever.

I'm not being dramatic or trying to get you to freak out; I'm telling the truth as I see it.

Why? For the longest time, when people search for information online, they are mentally prepared to verify that information.

They are prepared to see a list of websites that supposedly contain the answers to their search query.

So when you enter a search phrase into Google, you expect to see a list of URLs.

You are also prepared to click on each link, get information from those links, and mentally compile the information to come up with the "answer."

Enter ChatGPT.

When you type a query into ChatGPT, it gives you the "answer."

What it does is it scrapes information from all of the internet, but you don't see that process.

It's all invisible.

It also compiles all information in a way that makes sense and is grammatically correct.

You don't see that too.

That's the kind of thing you used to do with Google searches.

Do you see how this is a problem?

There are no ads, so there are no incentives for online publishers and, by extension, SEO specialists that rank those publishers' links on Google Search results.

ChatGPT will put online publishers and SEO specialists out of business.

That is the future of SEO.

Does this mean that this is the end of SEO?

Not by a long shot.

The real battle is going to be in data curating or data gatekeeping.

What do I mean by that?

You get a long list of results when you do a Google search.

You need to find out which are legit and which are not.

What if a company sat down lawyers, doctors, engineers, and other sources of vetted, verifiable, and tested information, gathered data from them, and fed it into ChatGPT?

That data will be worth something, and they could get a percentage of the ad revenues from one ad in the future versions of ChatGPT or Bing.

I see the game going in this direction, and that is SEO.

The barriers to entry will go sky-high.

Currently, anybody can do SEO if they have the time and the patience to learn how to rank websites.

They are handsomely rewarded.

Many people in this forum make hundreds of thousands a year doing SEO.

Good luck achieving that result unless you're a big corporation in the future.

There are lots of opportunities, but the game has definitely changed.

So get ready to adapt.

All the top players are top seo sellers because they have ranked their website first. People like Neil Patel became millionaire with this technique.
