Whats up guys!
I made a post in the facebook section a couple months back but it seems nobody cant really help me out there, google wastn a help at all, so i tried to figure it outmyself.
Here is what i have tried so far, im currently adding arround 800 people peer day in the group.
Arround 25-30% of those people are also joining my facebook fanpage, since we all know that the reach on fb pages is just a fuck up when it comes to sharing links, i was trying to build up a facebook group hoping to get better reach that way.
I post only high quality self edited pictures that take me roughly 2hours+ to make for each.
Now heres the thing, i created fake profiles in a certain niche that i enjoy and know alot about, those accounts have roughly 3k+ friends on them, what i noticed is that when i approve the posts of other people that are within the group they get almost no interaction at all, no likes no comments no shares, but when i post something with my fake profiles they usually end up getting 50 shares 40-80 likes and a shit tons of comments some of the stuff that i post reaches well over 100 shares and 300+ comments, for a group thats only at 5k, i think thats really good.
However i dont believe that its the stuff that i post nor the group itself that gives me this results, its the facebook profile that gives it.
On a group that passes 2k member ( could be wrong ) i noticed that the Notifications changed from " ALL POSTS " to "Highlight"
What does that exacly mean? Does that mean when the Admin posts something everybody gets a notification?
It seems to be that its really alot easier to market thrue a facebook profile, rather then having a group.
Cause it seems to me that whatever gets posted in a group, does not show up at all in peoples newsfeed, it just shows up in their friends newsfeed,
example: You and me are friends on facebook, i post something into a group, you see it in your newsfeed because we are friends so the system autoamticly assumes that theres a high chance that you are going to enjoy the content as well cause we are friends therefore we may or may not have similarity in what we like.
Other than that i dont think that when a group passes a certain number ( i think its 2000 could be wrong ) That there is no acutal reach anymore, nobody is going to see the posts, cause they dont show up in your newsfeed unless a friend interacts within the group.
This all could be wrong, this is just what i have been seeing in the last couple of days since i started this side project.
So please if someone here knows something about this, let me know.
Thanks guys
